Emergency Department Expansion Renderings

Jonathon Andrus
President & CEO
FairchildI would like to announce that Fairchild Medical Center is moving forward with a major hospital expansion project. FMC serves our northernmost CA rural communities throughout Siskiyou County. The communities in our primary service area have limited options to address their health related needs.
This expansion project will provide 25,000 sq ft of new hospital space that will provide a new emergency department, a new clinical laboratory, space for new clinical programs such as pain management and pulmonary rehabilitation, an expanded surgery department and additional space for primary care. The impact of this project through expanded capacity will be significant for our underserved communities.
Construction has begun and is scheduled for completion in June of 2027.
The FMC Foundation has begun a capital campaign for the project.
