Our FMC respiratory care practitioners are an essential part of the healthcare team that help treat patients with breathing disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and pneumonia. Respiratory care practitioners also provide care during life-threatening emergencies in adult, pediatric and newborn patients. The department provides up-to-date outpatient diagnostic testing, including cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, electroencephalogram (EEG) and home sleep testing.
