Dr. Epperly is committed to providing the highest quality and compassionate care to his patients. He cares deeply about helping his patients achieve their goals and get back to an active lifestyle. He believes in spending quality time listening to his patients, and he desires that each patient leave his office with a thorough understanding of their orthopedic problem, as well as a solid recovery plan. Dr. Epperly treats a variety of general orthopedic conditions, from fractures and sports-related injuries to chronic conditions such as arthritis. He is subspecialized in hip and knee replacements and is adept at minimally invasive surgical techniques such as direct anterior hip replacement. He seeks to help his patients have the least post-operative pain possible by pursuing a multimodal pain approach that helps to reduce the need for opiate pain medications post-operatively. Dr. Epperly sees patients at both Fairchild Medical Center and Fairchild Medical Clinic.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Epperly and his wife love living in the rural Siskiyou County countryside and enjoy spending time with each other, family and friends and being active in a variety of outdoor pursuits. Dr. Epperly believes in the importance of service. He has lived this by serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He has also served at mission hospitals in Haiti and Malawi and has been affected deeply by his experiences there. He and his wife are planning on future overseas medical missions as the opportunity allows.
