Jessie began her nursing career in 2004 as an Emergency Department nurse in southern Oregon. As an RN, most of her experience was in trauma/emergency nursing. She trained in Forensic Nursing and earned certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, performing countless sexual assault examinations/forensic evidence collections. She also became proficient in nurse-administered sedation and was employed in a department that primarily performed endoscopy/colonoscopy and bronchoscopy. After completing graduate school, Jessie was employed in the Urgent Care setting. She is passionate about rural health, serving the underserved, and bridging the gap between Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. She has been part of the Fairchild Medical Clinic team since early 2021.
Jessie was born and raised in Boise, ID. She relocated to southern Oregon in 2000 and fell in love with southern Oregon’s climate and easy access to mountainous and coastal environments. She feels a special affection for rural healthcare, having close family ties in rural Idaho. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, traveling, reading and any excuse to celebrate life with friends and family.
