Vaccines are available to anyone 12 years of age or older. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have a known exposure to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, you may be eligible to receive a monoclonal antibody therapy.

Monoclonals are proven to shorten the length and severity of infection and reduce the need for hospitalization. 

Treatments are available Monday - Saturday from 8am to 4pm. 

Please enter the FMC parking lot off of Wendy Drive and follow the signs for Monoclonal Infusion. 

Patients will be screened to see if they meet the criteria required to receive monoclonals. Please allow a minimum of 2-hours for screening and treatment if deemed appropriate.

MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY THERAPY NOW AVAILABLE

High risk includes having one or more of the following:

- Age 65 or older
- Obese or overweight, with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or greater
- Pregnant
- Diabetic, chronic kidney disease, or a condition that weakens the immune system
- Heart disease, high blood pressure or lung disease (like asthma)
- Age 12 -17 AND have obesity OR other long-term conditions
- Other medical conditions or factors (for example, race or ethnicity) that may place the patient at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19

Changes We've Made in Response to COVID-19

Fairchild Medical Center is now offering COVID-19 testing to the general community, for those who do not have any coronavirus signs or symptoms, through an order by Siskiyou County Public Health Officer Dr. Aaron Stutz. Testing is available on-site at Fairchild Medical Center in the testing tent located in the parking lot off of Wendy Drive. Testing is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 7am to 10am.

Fairchild Medical Center is currently operating in crisis mode due to the high number of critically ill patients being treated in the hospital. 

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the disruption or cancellation of your elective surgery or clinic appointment. We hope to reschedule your appointment soon. 

Fairchild Express Care is available in-person and online seven days a week from 10:00am to 6:00pm for non-emergency medical needs. Emergency services are available at the hospital in the emergency department.
