Fairchild Medical Center is delighted to begin the New Year with a moment of joy and celebration as we welcome our first baby of 2026. The New Year rang in with the arrival of Hector Angelo Sanchez, who was born on January 1, 2026, at 12:14 p.m. at Fairchild Medical Center.
The Fairchild Medical Center Auxiliary held its annual Holiday Party on Friday, December 12, at the Wine Bar and Bistro. This longstanding tradition is organized each year by Fairchild Medical Center Administration as a gesture of appreciation for the Auxiliary’s unwavering dedication, service, and continued support of both the Medical Center and the greater local community.
Progress continues on the Fairchild Medical Center Expansion Project as construction advances into the next phase. The first concrete slab pour has been successfully completed, with the second slab pour anticipated in the coming weeks, contingent upon weather conditions.
Mechanics Bank, a long-time partner of Fairchild Medical Center continues to invest in the future of healthcare for Siskiyou County. The bank has pledged $300,000 to support Fairchild’s major hospital expansion, helping ensure that high-quality, local care is accessible to families and residents across the region.
