Shantel Joling, PA-C is committed to the health and wellness of her patients in all aspects. Shantel is a proud Siskiyou County native. She started her medical career as a medical assistant working in local clinics before furthering her education, graduating from UC Davis to become a Certified Physician Assistant. Shantel has enjoyed working closely with and learning from her many respected colleagues throughout her career.
Shantel is a passionate animal lover, especially when it comes to her beloved horse, Ozzy. She has created a comfortable lifestyle for Ozzy that he’s become accustomed to, ensuring that he thrives in his environment. Shantel enjoys roping with her husband, and their shared love for this activity strengthens their bond. In addition, she cherishes the time spent with her older children and takes great pride in watching her younger children compete in rodeo events. Although she has medical training, Shantel hopes never to have to use it while watching her son ride bulls, preferring instead to enjoy the action from the sidelines.
