There’s exciting momentum at Fairchild Medical Center as progress continues on our FMC Expansion! The site is buzzing with activity, and major milestones are taking shape right before our eyes.

Crews have officially completed the asphalt and are wrapping up the final foundation pour — including the elevator pit that will support vertical access in the new building. With foundation work nearly complete, the focus has shifted to the steel phase of construction. Steel fabrication details are finalized, welding and preparation for building components are underway, and the structure is now ready to rise.

In the coming weeks, residents will notice even more visible progress as steel begins arriving on site in December. This next phase marks the exciting start of our facility taking shape above ground — a major step toward creating a stronger, safer space to serve our community.
