July 7 FMC Expansion Update
- Storm water retention is being installed. State regulations require a certain amount of water to be retained onsite before being discharged to the City of Yreka storm drain system. The following pictures are of the large gravel lined area where the large retention system will be installed.
- ED Lobby work continues, inside and out, and remains a priority to return to Fairchild operations.
- Outside of the ED lobby work continues on the wall that will be adjacent to the new ED. Modern Building was required to dig under the ED lobby foundation and pour re-enforcing concrete, as the new building foundation will be deeper than the current ED lobby.
- Inside the ED lobby, re-location of above ceiling utilities and mechanical system nears completion. Modern is testing the rain water drains seen in the attached picture.
- Pits have been dug where ED Nursing stations will be located in order to bury under slab conduits servicing the new nursing stations.
