ELECTRONIC PATIENT RECORDS
Fairchild Medical Center, Fairchild Medical Clinics and Scott Valley Rural Health Clinic will all begin transitioning patient records to the Epic platform beginning on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
WHEN IS FAIRCHILD TRANSITIONING TO EPIC?
WHAT IS EPIC?
Epic is a powerful electronic patient records platform that allows patients to have a single electronic medical chart that will follow them throughout the Fairchild organization. In addition, many leading hospitals and medical providers around the country use Epic, making your records from outside facilities available to your Fairchild Primary Care provider.
- A single patient record that follows the patient throughout Fairchild
- Access to records from facilities utilizing Epic outside of Fairchild
- Access to MyChart powered by Epic
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EPIC FOR FAIRCHILD PATIENTS?
WHAT IS MYCHART?
- The ability to communicate via message inside of MyChart with your Fairchild provider.
- Complete questionnaires and forms prior to your patient visit.
- Request an appointment with your Fairchild Primary Care provider or with Fairchild Express Care for non-emergency medical needs.
- Review test results. * Please note, not all test results will be immediately available.
- Securely pay medical bills connected to the your Epic account.

As we transition all patient records to Epic, you can expect that registration time at your next appointment make take longer than normal. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Our team members may need to ask you questions and will be happy to assist you with creating your MyChart patient portal account if you don't already have one.
