The Fairchild Medical Center (FMC) Auxiliary was organized more than 41 years ago for the purpose of promoting and advancing the welfare of FMC by assisting patients and hospital personnel, developing good public relations, and providing equipment for FMC through its fundraising activities.
As operating margins continue to shrink, healthcare institutions increasingly turn to organizations to provide the resources necessary for continued growth and quality patient care in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
Since its inception, the FMC Auxiliary has provided over 450,000 hours of volunteer services and has provided funds to Fairchild Medical Center for the purchase of much needed equipment. In addition, each year the Auxiliary offers scholarships to high school graduates planning a career in healthcare fields.

There are many ways to serve as a volunteer member of the Auxiliary. Volunteers work at the hospital front desk greeting and directing patients, in the gift shop or as a van driver. They also assist in outpatient surgery, readying the rooms for patients. To become a volunteer, complete the appropriate application below.
