Dr. Paul Beck is a General Surgeon, who returned to the North State, following surgical residency, to start his practice in 2012. Dr. Beck is a local product, born and raised in Redding, CA. The son of a local California Highway Patrolman, Dr. Beck was born at Mercy Medical Center and graduated from Shasta High School. Dr. Beck specializes in minimally invasive surgery and completes more than 450 robotic-assisted surgeries per year on the da Vinci Robotic platform. While placing a strong focus on hernia repair and anti-reflux (hiatal hernia) surgery, Dr. Beck sees a large volume of other abdominal surgical cases including colorectal cancer. Almost every month, Dr. Beck spends time covering other, smaller hospitals in more rural locations. At these hospitals, Dr. Beck can use some of his other skill sets, including laparoscopic bread-and-butter surgery and both upper and lower endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Beck has 3 adult children; two of which are former and active military. He enjoys hunting, fishing, backpacking and just about anything involving the outdoors.
